Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 08/24/2012

Number: 16

I have had many more Anna's hummingbirds than usual the last two days. They are all over the feeders and flying in the area. They are beautiful. There were sixteen of them at my feeders at 12:30 pm PST today. Awesome. I hate when the time comes for them to migrate. They bring so much pleasure and peace to my garden. I will surely miss them when they go. I hope little "Chip" doesn't migrate. He is the tiniest and most fearsome of all hummingbirds
At least he thinks he is. I don't think he is big enough to go on the long migration path.
