The monarch butterflies were all flying in a south east direction with a moderate tail wind from the north west.

The picture was taken June 19, 2012 at 5:11PM (according to the camera!). We always get a few monarchs here every year but this past spring was spectacular, I have never seen such numbers here. Currently the mourning cloaks are in very high numbers. also nice to see.
