Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 08/23/2012

Number: 6

For the Northerners worried about their birds making it through the drought. The longest stretch of drought is south of me. Have had 6 Ruby Throat in my yard all week. More than I have ever seen at once before. Not hungry enough to sit two to a feeder. Eat half at feeders and half at flowers. Working the Black & Blue Salvia and Butterfly bush most. Eating at Hibiscus, Gardenmeister and Hosta. Not hungry enough to bother with Geranium, Impatien, Coral Bells, Red Salvia or others. I have lots of juicy blooms for them and bugs.
