Seen an adult butterfly twice within a weeks time. They briefly visited the milk weed we have growing at the back of our property. No larva has been spotted yet.

I don't see them often, so i will try to catch some shots next time they come around. Unfortunately the farmers around here have tried to kill off the milk weed that the monarchs used to lay their eggs on and the larvae ate so it has been years since i have seen any. It was such a surprise to see them this year but i have yet to see any larvae. I am checking every day and hope to see some before the freeze.
