From 1:40-5:00 this afternoon I walked around Yates Mill Co. Park looking for wildlife. There were a lot of butterflies about. I saw 32 species today, the highlight being a Harvester and my first Gulf Fritillary of the year. Most of the butterflies were seen on the plantings around the parking lot, Lantana being the favorite. The weather was awesome today; sunny with temps in the low 80's.
