Out for three hours to capture monarchs for tagging, and about 190 collected. Almost all new, pristine individuals. Starting to see a few more females. Some mating pairs noted.
We really could use some rain, so the possibility of showers and thunder storms tomorrow, but rest of week sunny, with clouds. I wonder of water evaporating off of Lake Ontario pushes the clouds away from the lakeshore area, giving us more sunny days than points north?
