Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 08/28/2012

Number: 1

Today is for sure a MONARCH day. I found 2 more tiny newly hatched caterpillars on my milkweed. After adding them to my collection of approximately 30 caterpillars I discovered a newly spun chrysalis and a newly hatched female monarch butterfly. I am so excited. I just had to take a picture of the trio (butterfly, chrysalis, and variety of sizes of caterpillars).
