I first found Monarch caterpillars on August 5th. At that time the caterpillars were about the length of my pinkie finger. 9 days later and we have a chrysalis! In addition to the chrysalis, I found 5 new caterpillars, all much smaller than the seven that I found on the 5th - about 1/3 to 1/4 of the size.
