Spotted Eagle on North side of I _94W. I was about. 19 minutes out of Sauk. Centre. The adult eagle was spotted, on a snag (upright dead, leafless tree ) It was facing North, looking out a small lake. I noticed, it had some white mottling of it on the feathers on its. Back. Unusual, I haven't seen this feature before. Hope it's not sick. The last time I saw this was on a very sick Mexican,Eagle
My brother was a Masrer Falconer,and nursed the Mexican. Eagle back to health. It too had the mottled feathers on it's back
