Aug. 26, 2012 Evening roost forming 3-4 miles east of Stewart, Minnesota along State Highway 212 just east of where it intersects with Unit Avenue. About 150 butterflies are shown in the video, but by sunset the cluster had grown to 300 butterflies. There were also small clusters of 25-50 in the same grove for a total of 400 roosting butterflies. Video also shows nectaring taken the following morning of the red clover field next to the roost trees.
