Signs of Fall

Date: 08/28/2012

Number: 1

Not a one oriole at my feeders all day. Late afternoon at 4:30 was the last time they have been seen. One adult female, and 2 juveniles. They have been leaving little by little in the past 2 weeks. It's been the best year ever for them here. I enjoyed the first time the adults showed up both male and females showing their fledgings the necter feeders, and feeding them jelly. We were going through 1 27 oz. jar a week. Hope they have a safe return. Concerned of the drought.
