Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 08/30/2012

Number: 4

Four hummers seem to be the norm at my feeder with one ruby throated. The numbers usually increase in September.

Last year, I kept the feeder up until the 3rd week of October. The mornings were so chilly I would take the feeder in at night and put it back just before dawn so the hummers could have room temperature nectar. By that time I was seeing one hummer only and it could have been migrants.
