Every year is different. A week ago I had my birds of the summer, about 24. Now they seem to have departed and been replaced by the Carpetbaggers from up north, no more than about 12. These birds do not get along and will not sit down to eat. They'd rather fight. I keep feeding them. Most are females.

September 15 has been the former departure date for my gang. Don't know what happened...Mayan Calendar, maybe ?
