Two hummers were feeding on salvia guaranitica and my feeder with the larger hummer chasing a smaller one away, with the smaller one coming back repeatedly and the larger hummer repeatedly chasing the other. I could hear the brrrrrrr of their wings and also the mouse-like "cheep" of the hummers as they were feeding.
I have had to refill my little feeder quite often because a hummer will feed there from early morning to late in the evening (assuming it is the same bird).
