There are definately fewer. I was going through a gallon of food a day and it is down to about 1/2 that. Still a bunch but less. I am guessing there are "stop overs" because there have been more males lately. Presumably from the north migrating down. I think we counted about 2 dozen birds regularly visiting our feeders. I would say we are down to about a dozen. Always sad when they leave. :(
