Hummingbird Sighting (Adult Male)

Date: 08/31/2012

Number: 2

Have two feeders still in operation here, just 3 miles south of the NY State line, and in use daily. The hummers have had to contend with the Downy Woodpeckers this year .. they discovered the feeders at the same time. and the other drawback is the YellowJackets also .. both types of birds have been attacked by them!!
Last year the hummers left in early September, I hope they stick around LONGER this time. STILL GOING STRONG DAILY morning, noon and evening .. up to 7:30pm, right before dark.
