2 Rubythroated at my kitchen window upside down red glass wine bottle feeder that I received as a Mothers Day gift this year. One male , one female. I also observe them at my front porch window feeder and also at a tiny feeder I have hanging in a plant in the front flower garden. Daily visitors but past few days they have been coming much more frequently. This morning was the first time I've seen 2 hovering around at the feeder at the same time. Yesterday 8/29/12, a female Rubythroat remained perched at the feeder with her bill fully submerged in the feeder port drinking continuously for several minutes. I figure they are taking in as much as they can in preparation for fall migration?? I will certainly miss them until they return in the spring next year. (They) return every year and I like to think that they are the same family year after year :)
