11:25am CST, sunny blue sky, 77F...and (drum roll please!!) FOURTEEN -- 14 -- Monarchs feeding on the boulevard liatris!! FANTASTIC!! We were getting worried since the counts started out late, everything is about 2 weeks early, we've had roller coaster hot and cool weather and relatively dry (then monsoon) -- hopefully in the next week we'll start seeing the big migration and numbers will get close to last year. We love our monarchs here on the busy urban street in south minneapolis! pm
