In Jackson, we have not seen any monarchs for about two weeks now; however, there are literally hundreds of painted ladies. I worry that some observers who may not know the difference will report many monarchs when in fact it is painted ladies they are seeing.

In both Jackson and Cape May, painted ladies are stealing the show right now, although in Cape May this am we did see 3 monarchs drop down into our garden to nectar.
