Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/02/2012

Number: 36

The number of hummingbirds at the eight feeders has decreased substantially, from about 5 dozen birds to about 3 dozen but we are still refilling the nectar at a rate of about 10 cups per day. I saw one rufous juvenile male and about 3 black-chinned males, all the rest were a combination of female black-chinned or female rufous.
