I have only had one hummingbird sighting previous to this one, and that was in June, 2 hummers came as soon as I put up my feeder! Then I never again saw any (I am in the city). On Aug. 25th at 8pm, as I was reading on my deck, a hummingbird came to me very close up, looked and hovered, checked out the feeder and went away. I only saw that one, and it was getting towards dark.
