Wake Co., NC butterflies-Lake Crabtree Co. Park-09/01/2012

During and after work I did some butterflying around the park. Popular nectar sources were Abelia (Abelia ×grandiflora), Brazilian Vervain (Verbena brasiliensis), Climbing Hempweed (Mikania scandens), Lantana, Butterfly-bush, and New York Ironweed (Vernonia noveboracensis).
Butterfly highlights today were 2 Dion Skippers, 16 Painted Ladies (NO American Ladies), and 3 Long-tailed Skippers (new to the park).
