Driving through northern Wisconsin we counted at least 7 large groups of wild turkeys along the roadside ditches. What a sight! This is the time of year when the females and this year's young gather together to prepare for seasonal movements. Groups were composed of at least 10 individuals and up to as many as 25 or so!
