Night roost of 9/3/12 were still in place this morning.at 6:35 am
There were still about. 100 still clinging to the bare branches
It was quite chilly, and they were hard to spot.
About in the upper 50's low 60's,with no
Wind.The moved their wings only once in
a great while. Came back at 9:30a.m.,they
had moved. Walked on top of the bern, and
then spotted they had moved to the.willow
tree! As I called.to them, they flew overand around
me. Spent.of the.rest of the day counting roosts.
Higher wind later I'n day. 60 small Roosts,Monarch
s were flying through the corn rows, and to the.wild
Flowers. Night roost mpved.to pine, elm, cotton
Wood trees. Numbers still around. 300 in
Scattered roosts
