Four females have remained actively feeding through 09-03-12 with an adult male and a juvenile male all summer since the third week of May in Northeast Ohio. We have had as many as 15 feeding at a time on three feeders. Flowers that attracted them to this location for 6 years have been red buckeye, coral bells, virginia bluebell, clematis, geranium, white lantana, yellow lantana, begonia, peony, iris, daylily, hosta, jasmine, rose of sharon, honeysuckle, hellebore, and salvia black-and-blue.
