Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/06/2012

Number: 2

I'm still getting multiple young, or Female birds visiting my feeders, all day long. I'll try to observe more closely during this weekend, when I'll be able to spend more time near the feeders. The birds seem to be very spritely, and seem energized by the recent cooler weather, and some badly needed rain. I have often had birds come and bathe during times when I'm sprinkling my Native wildflowers! I just hold the hose steady and spray a light shower up and over any nearby shrub or tree. As the water drops down, the birds perch and delight in a little bath! Very fun for us all!
