We visited one of our annual sites (East Point Park) where hundreds of Monarchs usually congregate at this time of the year. We saw only one which was badly faded, not likely a migrator. If the migration is over in this area, it is very early indeed. We usually have not reached the peak this early in September. (I am hoping to have a few adults to release next Wednesday for a kindergarten-grade 1 class in Scarborough).
