I have at least 8 at my feeders, 1 adult male, 2 juvi males and the rest females. 3 of the birds have been around for 4 days straight and look into the window and slider by the feeders and perch in same place in between feeding. I know these are traveling birds but think some of them are return birds that stopped here last year as the 3 act like it is home. Buzzing about my head and window like 'look I am back' my Spring/Summer birds do this when they get home every year. Do does anyone know if traveling birds return to same stop off homes on their way to Winter home? I still have plenty of blooms in my yard and plant for both hummers and butterflies every year to ensure plenty of food for migration.
