Several acres planted to red clover, now in profuse bloom, with Monarchs streaming here to feed. In just half an hour I counted 55 -- but as in all kinds of peak migrations, it is impossible to count every individual. Probably thousands of Monarchs will feed on this several acres of clover today. Photos do not do the situation justice, as the butterflies are concealed below the surface of the cloverfield as they feed...
