Still coming frequently to feed. Don't know if it is one bird or several. All I know is that life is quiet around the feeder. The female(s)can actually stay at the feeder indefinitely, as no other bird comes to chase her (them) away.
I can't see the coloration as the feeder is hanging from the eaves of the house, and I view thebirds against the bright sky only as silhouettes. So I determine sex only by the relative behaviour. The males sit and drink, and look up at the feeder. The females hover, always checking around them between sips, and are always ready to fly off at the sight of the other one, which presumably is male.
