Residents appear for breakfast 7:02 AM, 52 degrees, quieter this morning, not as much chittering and less play. Windy today, hummers spent most of their time on the East side of our home, where the large trees and tall grasses provide a wind break--one that is so significant that you do not notice/feel the wind. Hummers spent the afternoon playing in tall oak trees, visiting the feeders, and Black and Blue Salvia. 4 left this evening, visiting feeders on the East side and playing in tall White Pine and White Oak trees.
