Monarch activity continued today at Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge, with 228 monarchs being observed over two hours in two different areas. The temperature was in the low 60s, and the wind was from the northwest on this bright sunny day. Sawtooth sunflowers were the main source of nectar for the monarchs.
