the males are all but disappeared they have been gone a couple of weeks now its that very early they have never left so early before usually it later in the month of Sept. Maybe they know something we dont but then again they arrived so much earlier this year than in years before . I knowit hard to keep up with them making nectar for them they can empty a large feeder by mid day but I love these little JEWELS of THE AIR and I will miss them especially this year my Father was living with us he was ill and he loved watching the little birds and he Passed away AUGUST 5, he would sit and watch them and they would put on a show for him sorry I didnt meam to go on but the birds are a comfort for us now .
