I'm not a knowledgable hummingbird person, but i believe these to be Ruby Throated. This is my first full year in Arkansas and I got my first feeder ever, in July. I had so many birds fighting over it I got another one. Now it's September and I've attempted to count them and finally gave up trying at 18 birds. I fill my feeders everyday, sometimes twice. I get such entertainment out of my little hummer "kids". I don't have a good photo, but have videos that I put on Facebook for my friends back in Calif. to see.
