Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/09/2012

Number: 100

We went on a camping trip this weekend to Lake Rathbun. We were walking along the lake at the beach and discovered a huge area with yellow wildflowers. There were hundreds (too many to count) monarch butterflies fluttering from flower to flower and drinking nectar. They were very big and healthy looking! We stayed for about 20 minutes and got some nice pictures of them!
