With the extreme dry weather this summer I have not seen many monarchs. I saw maybe two sitting in my trees last week and it made me sooo sad. I usually see caterpillars on my milkweed and find a chrysalis here and there but there has been nothing. I will keep a watch out and will report if I see anything. I think that this is the first year in about nine years that I haven't had a large number roosting in my trees for a couple of nights in the early part of September. I sure hope to have my friends back next year.
