SW Monarch Study Tagging event at Canelo netted 12 monarchs. Others netted an additional 18 over the weekend. Many fresh and new monarchs. A few tattered. Three females still laying eggs and 5th instar larvae spotted. In past years monarchs tagged early at this site flew to California, later to Mexico.
