Saw a couple of dozen at Buddleia bushes. I don't think this was the PEAK. I think we are past the peak migration. I saw these monarchs during the afternoon . Most I saw on one bush at time was 3 or 4. I saw them feeding on my many (16) buddleia bushes, goldenrod field and sunning themselves on the tall trees just before sundown.
I just came in from outside (9/12) and saw 6 or 7 circling and sunning on the oak trees.
