Actually spotted the caterpillar on the 7th, but I forgot to report :O)(Reported 9/12)
My husband rescued a small butterfly weed plant (just 2 small stalks less than a foot tall) before it was mown over. The cat has eaten fast and furious and half the leaves are gone!!! I just hope there are enough left until he pupates.
