Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/13/2012

Number: 9

Daily filling of 3 feeders is a welcome chore. So glad I put up the third one since they are so feisty with each other. They feed in the darkness before the sun has risen, and after sunset. Can't believe these tiny guys fly so far to migrate. I think I can distinguish one future adult male, as from just the right angle his neck appears red.
