Observed lots of monarchs flying in the evening sky. Followed a few and found a roost area in a large red maple near our home in Canaan Valley, WV, elevation 3250 feet. We are still seeing stragglers fly over the house towards the roosting tree. Have seen monarchs roosting in different red maples around our neighborhood in past years.
