While I only observed it for a few minutes, I followed it to observe its northward movement until it escaped my ability to continue following. This marvelous black and orange creature was quick to escape my presence and continue its migration pattern. I was unable to take a picture because I lacked a camera, though I am positive of it being a Monarch.
