I found 3 small caterpillars on milkweed in my way station garden and put them in my butterfly cage at school -- a 4th one hatched from an egg on one of the leaves 2 days later. The 3 largest have gone into Chrysalis this week and one is still eating. These are the only ones I have found -- my milkweed is dropping leaves early and has less pods than normal. We have found only one or two larva on the plants in our garden at school.
