Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 09/13/2012

Number: 1

I was taking pictures of monarchs today when one landed on my ear ... how cool is that! People, plant a butterfly bush, pull up a lawn chair, sit and enjoy God's goodness in the form of butterflies and take pictures for hours at a time. Monarch, mourning cloak and swallowtails were the main batch today. Monarchs are sipping deep and heading towards Lake Erie where they cross and head South. They are very rich in colour and there are at least 6 on the butterfly bushes at all times this week. So very, very relaxing to watch.
