Today at the top of Tussey mountain (elevation 1800 ft) was sunny, 80 degrees with a slight swirling breeze. The Monarchs started flying by at 9:30 am and continued in one's and two's until 4:00 pm. I counted 170 but that was a smaller number than actually passed by as I was also working... Many stopped to feed on the thistle as those who passed before them had done.
