I saw what seemed to be an adult Monarch butterfly; I did not have much time to observe it since it quickly flew into the forest. I saw it while we were on a "safari" looking for different organisms around the school for my AP Environmental class. I saw a bright orange butterfly that was heading toward the back forest, and with a closer look saw that it was a monarch! I wish that we could have captured a picture of it, but it was moving too fast.
