In my front yard as I was leaving for work I saw 2 female or Juvenile ruby throats. One perched on a branch of the butterfly bush while the other fed. Then they both took off. Wasn't sure if the percher was an escort or was chasing the other away. Perhaps they were both startled by me coming out.
