Seeing a few hummingbirds today. Yesterday I seen 3 playing chase.
It's been a light misty rain all day in Irving,TX. A little rain hasn't stopped the hummingbirds from making their rounds to the Rose of Sharon Tree and Fire Bushes and Butterfly Bush. I'm sure they're making their usual stop at the Turks Caps on the side of the house also. I've moved the few feeders that I have out up close to the patio so they wouldn't be rained on all day and I haven't seen any hummingbirds come to them since I've moved them. I guess they prefer the feeders a little further away from the house.
I attached a picture that I took today... one of the hummers at the Fire Bush.
