Today around 3:30 I was looking out my back kitchen window. I female hummer darted in and began drinking at my nectar feeder. She ate for a fairly long time. Then she flew to a hanging trumpet basket I have. I had not seen a hummer for nearly three days, and thought they were gone. I am going to put out some fresh food tonight in case there are any more that come past this way.
