Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/15/2012

Number: 40

We spent the day at Island Beach State Park. We started seeing a few Monarchs flying over the road as we drove to our spot. While we were on the beach for 4-5 hours we would see Monarchs come flittering by every few minutes. Most were single, but a few flew together in pairs. I got a picture of one as he flew by, but it's out of focus.
